• Founded in 2008, the Unir Distâncias Group was born from the desire to provide a high-quality moving experience for those looking to move house or relocate their company’s office. At this stage, the focus was on residential and commercial moves.
• In 2018, entry into the Distribution Market for Retail Furniture Companies, with JYSK—a company with Danish roots and IKEA’s main competitor—as the primary partner.
• In 2019, entry into the Self-Storage Market with the opening of the first self-storage facility in Alhos Vedros – Metro Guardado, in Moita. Recognizing the growing demand for storage solutions during the moving process, we expanded our services to include storage for household furniture/belongings, office materials for businesses, corporate archives, and retail company stock.
• In 2024, we expanded our Moving and Distribution services to the districts of Leiria, Coimbra, and Santarém.
